Weichmacherfrei
Weichmacher (auch als Phthalates bekannt) sind chemische Plastifiziermittel, die seit den 50er Jahren des vergangenen Jahrhunderts vielfach dazu eingesetzt wurden, Kunststoff, der beim Biegen ansonsten brüchig werden würde, elastischer zu machen. Da Weichmacher nicht chemisch im Kunststoff gebunden sind, sondern hinzugefügt wurden, treten sie kontinuierlich in die Luft, Lebensmittel oder Flüssigkeiten aus. Ein angsterregender Gedanke! Keine Sorge – in Playgro Produkten sind absolut KEINE Weichmacher enthalten.
Blei kann für Menschen giftig sein und es ist besonders gefährlich für Kinder, da ihre sich im Wachstum befindlichen Körper mehr Blei aufnehmen als Erwachsene. Deshalb reagieren ihre Gehirne und Nervensysteme empfindlicher auf die schädlichen Auswirkungen von Blei. Sie haben jedoch die Gewissheit, dass kein Blei im Playgro Spielzeug enthalten ist – es ist 100 %-ig bleifrei.
BPA-frei
Was ist BPA? Es handelt sich um eine Chemikalie mit der etwas abschreckend klingenden Bezeichnung Bisphenol-A , die in Hart- und Klarplastik wie auch in Epoxidharzen angetroffen wird. Viele sagen, dass die Aufnahme von BPA gesundheitsschädlich für Kinder und Erwachsene ist – deshalb haben wir uns dafür entschieden, es ganz zu vermeiden! Es ist kein BPA irgendwo in Playgro Produkten versteckt.
Playgro Spielzeug ist ungiftig. Jedes Spielzeug ist mit einer Altersempfehlung versehen und jedes Spielzeug wurde hinsichtlich seiner Eignung für diese Altersstufe getestet.

What’s hiding inside unsealed teethers and bath toys?
To make teethers and bath toys fun and engaging for baby, many toy manufacturers incorporate a squeaker or squirty feature, requiring air or water to be drawn inside the toy though a hole. What many parents do not realise however, is that this hole also allows for moisture, such as baby’s drool or water, to make its way inside the toy where it becomes trapped. The amp warm environment inside the toy provides ideal conditions for the formation and growth of bacteria and fungi, which can exist unnoticed and hidden from view. All the meanwhile baby continues to chew on the toy!
